Who is Barbara Walters' daughter, Jacqueline Dena Guber?

Barbara Walters had several marriages through her lifetime, but only had one daughter, who was also known as Jackie Danforth.

She welcomed her adopted daughter Jacqueline into her life during her second marriage, to Lee Guber.

Born in 1968, the couple named her Jacqueline Dena Guber after Barbara's elder sister, but kept that she was adopted a secret.

She cites the main reason for this was as she did not want the child's biological mother knowing they had adopted her.

Jacqueline managed to hide her battle with addiction as a young teenager as she struggled to deal with her mum's fame.

In 1985, Jacqueline ran away from home and hitchhiked some 800 miles within a month.

Walters decided to put her in a program to address her issues and fortunately Jacqueline was ready to get clean also.

More recently, in 2013, she was arrested for a DUI (driving under the influence) and since this incident has opted to stay away from the spotlight.

Who was Dena Guber's father Lee Guber?

Lee Guber produced several Broadway theatre productions and went on to open a chain of entertainment venues along the East Coast.

He brought some huge acts to these venues with stars such as Jack Benny, Perry Como, Sammy Davis Jr, Dionna Warwick and Stevie Wonder.

He married Walters in 1963, when she was a reporter for NBC, and the two shared a 13-year marriage.

She was the second of his three marriages and they decided to adopt after Walters suffered a number of miscarriages.

Robert Henry Katz

A lavish ceremony did not lead to a happy marriage and the two had a very short-lived time together.

They seperated after two years and as Walters said in her book, Audition: A Memoir, she said their marriage was so brief she likely wouldn't know if she walked into him.

Katz was a former Navy lieutenant and business executive.

Lee Guber

Theatrical producer and theatre owner, Guber had what some would regard as quite a successful marriage by comparison to her previous one, together for 13 years.

It was eight years after adopting Jacqueline that they parted ways.

Merv Adelson

The CEO of Lorimar Television, the pair wed in 1981 but things didn't work out and they filed for divorce in 1984.

Adelson did have one very different aspect to his time with Walters as they rekindled their relationship and got married again in 1986.

However, they did end up splitting up again in 1996.
