Nadine Dorries blasts PM Rishi Sunak for 'damaging' double by-election defeats in blistering attack | The Sun
October 20, 2023NADINE Dorries has blasted Rishi Sunak for the “damaging” double by-election blow saying it could mark the end of the Tory party.
The former Mid Bedfordshire MP launched into a blistering attack on her TalkTV show saying the blame lies with him for the historic losses.
Speaking on tonight’s Friday Night with Nadine, she said the Tory party has got itself into a “potentially catastrophic mess”.
She added: “For the past 48 hours, Number 10 have known this was coming.
"Yet they still embarked on a delusional campaign of expectation management.
“This involved trying to shovel the blame before any results on anyone or anything other than the Prime Minister or the Party.

“Given the massive scale of the defeats, none of this desperate spinning has had any traction whatsoever.
“The position of both Rishi Sunak’s personal rating and the Conservative party in the polls, is far more telling than any incompetent PR that Number 10 engages in.
“Many now say it’s not just over for Rishi but it’s over for the party too.
"It was Rishi himself who inflicted these damaging by-elections on the party.
