My kids were 'kidnapped & taken abroad by their dad' one month ago – I feel like I'm stuck in a nightmare | The Sun
August 27, 2022A MUM says she feels like she is stuck in a nightmare after claiming her kids were “kidnapped and taken abroad by their dad”.
Dawn Daley last saw her children – Khalid, eight, Aasayah, six, and Maimunah Algehani, four – on the morning of July 30 when their dad, Fares Aljehani, came to pick them up from their home in Wythenshawe, Manchester.
The dad was due to take them on holiday to North Yorkshire, the Manchester Evening News reports.
But instead, Fares, a Libyan national, is said to have flown them out of the UK to Tunisia with his new wife Samiyah, without Dawn’s knowledge.
The kids were reported missing to the cops a week later on August 10, after they failed to return home.
Manchester police said they believe the three youngsters are with a family member, which Dawn thinks is their father, but they are still no closer to bringing them home.

It’s believed the kids may have been taken abroad and the Foreign Commonwealth Development Office have confirmed they are in touch with Greater Manchester Police as well as the family.
Dawn has now issued a new appeal for them to be returned home as soon as possible as it is now nearly a month since she last saw them.
She says she hasn’t spoken to them since July 30.
"It's just like a living nightmare, I wish I could hear their voices," she said, struggling to fight back tears.

"I just feel like I'm stuck in a nightmare and I feel so empty. It's the not knowing that's the worst."
Some of Dawn’s friends have organised a fundraiser to help with the cost of the search at the Three Legs of Man pub in Manchester on Saturday.
A GoFundMe page which was set up on August 15 has already raised more than £3,000.
Previously, the children’s grandparents, Phil and Lynne Daley, made an emotional appeal for the kids to be returned home to their “distraught” mum.
"They are absolutely fantastic children. We have 22 grandchildren and see every one of them the same.
"You can feel how much they are missed. They are very joyful, especially with their nanna," Phil said.
"All I would say is we just want them home. They need to be with their mother. She is distraught and so is the rest of the family. We are bonding together but we need them home.
"Dawn is coping the best she can and she is always trying to look at the positives but she is totally, totally upset. We just need the kids to come back to her."
In a previous statement from Manchester cops, they said: "On August 10, 2022, police received a report that three children aged 8, 6 and 4 were missing from their home in Wythenshawe.
