May 13, 2023A HOSPITALISED man has been arrested after a woman was found dead in a seaside town.
Cops were called to an address in Bournemouth, Dorset, by concerned paramedics yesterday afternoon, where the body of a 34-year-old woman was discovered.
Investigators confirmed that the death is being treated as a murder and that a car was impounded at the scene and later towed away.
The man, 31, was also found at the scene, having suffered serious injuries, and was taken to hospital under police escort before being arrested.
Officers are waiting to question him.
They also confirmed that the two people involved in the incident were known to each other.

Flowers, candles and other tributes have been left outside the property by mourners.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "A murder investigation has been launched after a woman was sadly found dead at an address in Bournemouth.
"We received a report at 12.19pm on Friday from the ambulance service requesting assistance at an address in Rosemount Road.
"A 34-year-old local woman was found dead at the scene. Her family has been informed.

"A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and subsequently taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries he had sustained.
"The arrested man and the victim are known to each other."
Detective Inspector Mark Jenkins added: "A full investigation has been launched and a cordon is in place at the address while an examination of the scene is carried out.
"There will be an increased police presence in the area while inquiries continue and I would urge anyone with any information or concerns to please speak to officers."
