August 25, 2022A BRIT dad who dumped his partner for a Ukrainian refugee his family were hosting is jetting off to visit the war ravaged country.
Tony Garnett, 29, reckons he and girlfriend Sofiia Karkadym can end the bloody conflict themselves and "save hundreds of lives".
The former security guard – who sacked off devastated Lorna Garnett, 28, for his 22-year-old Ukrainian squeeze – says the pair are going to document the bonkers trip on Instagram and YouTube.
The jobless dad-of-two said: "The longer (the war) goes on for then there's going to be more deaths – and some could be stopped with this help.
"I could save hundreds of lives.
"Even if I save the life of one person then that is worth it for me."

It is not clear how long or when exactly Tony and Sofiia – who want to get married – will be setting off for Ukraine.
And it is unclear what the loved-up duo will be doing in Sofiia's homeland.
Sofiia, who fled the city of Lviv at the start of the Ukraine war, previously told The Sun: “As soon as I saw him I fancied him.
“It’s been very quick but this is our love story. I know people will think badly of me but it happens.

Since the pair hooked up their lives have changed forever.
Tony has moved another woman and her boyfriend from Ukraine into his new home after moving out with Sofiia.
The dad-of-two has now got Sofiia Rastorhuieva, 19, and her boyfriend Illia Tronevych, 18, bunking with him in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
Tony has also been given a restraining order to stay away from ex Lorna after he allegedly bombarded her with abusive messages.
To add to the chaos, Sofiia suffered an eye infection in Germany as she travelled to the UK leaving her partially blind.
Tony now acts as her carer while she recovers.
Lorna Garnett, who had changed her surname by deed poll to match Tony’s but is not married to him, previously told The Sun on Sunday Sofiia would wear low-cut tops and makeup to impress Tony.
She added: “She set her sights on Anthony from the start.
"Decided she wanted him and she took him.
“I just don’t understand how he could throw all that away for a woman he’s known for a fortnight. The life I knew is shattered.
“I would never put anyone off taking in refugees. This is a crisis in Ukraine and people like me will want to have the heart to help those in need."
The newly single mum said she was left feeling like the "third wheel" in her former relationship and "unwelcome in her own home".

The heavily tattooed dad told The Sun: “We’re planning the rest of our life together.
“We’re sorry for the pain we’ve caused but I’ve discovered a connection with Sofiia like I’ve never had before."
