Olivia was gunned down by a balaclava-clad man in her own home in Knotty Ash, Liverpool, on August 22.

Two men – 36 and 33 – previously arrested on suspicion of murder and two counts of attempted murder have been bailed.

The 36-year-old has been recalled to prison after breaching the terms of his licence.

“A number of people have been arrested in respect of this investigation. However, we still need the public’s help in ensuring that we can a build a strong evidential picture so justice is served for Olivia and her family.

On the night of the horror, Olivia's mum Cheryl is believed to have opened the front door to investigate a commotion outside when a gunman forced his way through in pursuit of convicted burglar Joseph Nee.

The shooter then began peppering the home with bullets – hitting Cheryl first then Olivia, who was standing behind her mum.

Tragically, Olivia was declared dead shortly after, while her mother was treated for a gunshot wound to the wrist.

Intended target Nee received medical attention for multiple wounds to his upper body.

The "cold-blooded" killer was caught on CCTV running away from the property moments after the horror.

Head of Investigations Mark Kameen said it is believed he was carrying two guns.

It was previously thought just one firearm had been used – with cops still searching for the weapons.
