Moment car thief films himself driving Ferrari he stole using a jammer through streets of London at night – as balaclava crook boasts ‘no one’s out here doing it like me bruv’

  • A jammer interferes with the signals between a key fob and the immobiliser

This is the moment a car thief filmed himself driving a Ferrari he stole using a jammer through the streets of central London.

The footage, which was posted by car_crime_uk on Instagram, shows the alleged thief sat behind the wheel of the super car wearing a balaclava and gloves.

He is seen accelerating quickly through the streets of ‘central London’, before claiming that ‘no one’s out here doing it like me bruv’.

The thief then spans his camera to the passenger seat, showing off his jammer which he implies was used to steal the car.

A jammer works by interrupting the signals between the key fob and the car’s immobiliser system.

The man can be seen revving the car and boasting that ‘no one’s out here doing it like me bruv’

According to the Sunday Star, the number of Ferrari thefts are on the rise

Whilst revving the car’s engine as he drives, the thief is heard saying ‘This ain’t no joke’ and ‘my life she’s feisty’.

Reports of stolen Ferraris in London are increasing, according to the Sunday Star.

Sources tell the Star that a number of the stolen vehicles are ‘being shipped to Russia’ due to a ‘shortage of new cars’.

MailOnline has contacted the Metropolitan Police for comment.
