Cardano ($ADA) Logo Appears on a Car Taking Part in a NASCAR Race in Virginia
August 10, 2022Recently, a race car driven by Trent Barnes took part in a NASCAR event held on the Dominion Raceway in Thornburg, Virginia.
What made the car standout was that it featured large decals on the sides and in the front that featured the Cardano name and logo.
The event, which took place on July 30, was the “Blake Morris Memorial Twin 72’s” race. This race is part of the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series (formerly known as the Whelen All-American Series, Winston Racing Series, and the Dodge Weekly Series), which is a “points championship for NASCAR sanctioned local short track motor racing around the United States and Canada.”

NASCAR driver Trent Barnes tweeted about the final design for the final decal design/layout on July 26, i.e. four days before the race.
Here are a couple of photos of the Cardano car on race day (the first was posted on Twitter, and the second is from the driver’s website):
Yesterday, Barnes, once again, engaged with the crypto community by asking them what they think of how his race car looks these days:
Earlier today, Charles Hoskinson, Founder and CEO of Input Output Global (“IOG”), the blockchain firm responsible for the research and development of the Cardano platform, saw Barnes’ latest tweet and wanted to know who had paid for this sponsorship.
The owner/operator of Bone Pool replied:
