One of the jurors who convicted cult mom Lori Vallow of murdering her children has says he was able to put a ‘face to evil’ for the first time in his life while watching her at her trial.
Vallow was last week convicted of murdering her kids JJ and Tylee, and conspiring to murder her lover’s wife.
She is yet to be sentenced, but will likely spent the rest of her life in prison.
The case was steeped in religious cults and a separation from reality in which Vallow and her lover-turned-husband Chad Daybell thought they were saving the world.
She is yet to show any acknowledgement of her children’s deaths let alone remorse.

Speaking to Good Morning America on Wednesday, juror Saul Hernandez said he found it difficult to look at Vallow and photos of her Hawaii wedding, which took place after her children were killed.
‘I didn’t want to look at them. I just couldn’t believe how someone can be that happy when your kids are in the ground.
‘And the person that was key in all of this is sitting across from you, smiling at you and dancing with you on the beach.’
As the evidence came to light, testimony was shared. It was harder to look at her.
‘Growing up, you talk about good, bad, God, evil. I think for the first time in my life, I put a face to evil,’ he said.
The jury took seven hours to deliberate Vallow’s fate.
Chad Daybell is next to stand trial.

Vallow was also convicted of conspiring to murder Tammy Daybell, her lover’s wife
As public interest in the case grew, the couple fled Idaho for Hawaii, marrying on the beach in a romantic ceremony that they gleefully documented in photos
The pair first met at a conference in 2018. A year later, Chad’s wife Tammy died mysteriously, and Vallow’s kids vanished.
The last time they were seen alive was on a family outing to Yellowstone National Park.

They refused to answer questions about the kids’ whereabouts or safety.
Vallow was found mentally competent to stand trial but the death penalty was taken off the table before her trial began.
She gave no testimony, and her defense did not call a single witness.
