Hypnotist who helped Katie Price beat her fear of water is being sued by rival who says he stole his mind-control skills

A HYPNOTIST to the stars who helped Katie Price beat her fear of water is being sued by a rival who claims he stole his mind-control skills.

Ali Campbell’s hypnotherapy and so-called neurolinguistic programming also helped Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland beat her craving for chocolate.

And Oscar-nominated Paddington star Sally Hawkins, 45, soul diva Mica Paris, 52, and Cheltenham Gold Cup-winning jockey Sam Waley-Cohen, 39, have also praised his techniques.

But Mr Campbell, 47, is being taken to court in a copyright battle by fellow hypnotist Rory Fulcher, 34, after he set up a training course last year.

Mr Fulcher — stage name Rory Z — says Mr Campbell took advantage of him.

His lawyers say the men worked together on a rapid induction therapy course in 2013.

But they claim Glasgow-based Mr Campbell has since gone on to rip-off parts of Mr Fulcher’s techniques — which put clients into a trance in seconds.

A textbook issued to Mr Campbell’s students contains large chunks copied directly from Mr Fulcher’s own training manual, it is claimed.

In testimonials on Mr Campbell’s website, Sally Hawkins said: “Thank you so much, you have a remarkable gift.”

And Mica Paris said: “Ali helped me break lifelong habits in no time at all.”

Katie Price said after therapy which overcame her fear so she could swim with her children: “Ali is my miracle man. I’m 1,000 per cent cured.”

The case goes to court soon.
