Jill Biden will be celebrating her 70th birthday on June 3, 2021.
She arrived at her and Joe’s Rehoboth Beach house without the president, who eventually flew in to join her on the evening of Wednesday, June 2.
According to her spokesperson, Michael LaRosa, the pair plan on spending a quiet birthday at home.

When did Joe and Jill Biden purchase their beach home?
The Biden’s bought the Rehoboth beach house in 2017.
At the time, the property cost $2.7million.
The home is a short walk from the beach and has six bedrooms and outdoor amenities for entertaining guests.
It also overlooks Cape Henlopen State Park.
They purchased the home two years after Joe’s son, Beau died of brain cancer.
One sign on the house says "Beau's gift" and another reads "Forever Jill."
Jill told Vogue magazine back in March of 2020 that Joe had promised her that "when I write my book, I'll buy you a beach house."
She was keen on being near the ocean, telling Vogue: "I wanted it to be the kind of place where you can come in in your wet bathing suit and bare feet and I can just take the broom and brush out the sand.
Adding: "And that's what this is. Everything's easy."

Jill has been a lifelong educator.
Before Joe was elected Vice President, she taught English for about 15 years at Delaware Technical and Community College.

Nowadays, she continues to teach English full-time at a community college in Virginia.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Jill has been teaching virtually but has vowed to continue her career despite being first lady.
Jill endorses the importance of community colleges and believes they are “one of America’s best-kept secrets.”
