SBI Group is investing in cryptotics

The Japanese company SBI Group bought 40% of the company's shares from Taiwan, which manufactures hardware wallets.

According to the company's press release, SBI has financed the development of CoolBitX hardware wallets, having bought out almost half of the company's shares. The amount of investments was not disclosed.

Currently, the main activity of CoolBitX is the production of CoolWallet, a cryptichelper that communicates with devices via Bluetooth.

SBI Group is investing in security

The company's statement stresses that SBI has long been looking for technologies that can be used to improve the level of customer funds protection.

To this end, the company has adopted advanced developments from third-party companies, including CoolBitX, and has also developed risk control programs within the company, the Cointelegraph reports.

Previously, SBI Group announced that the launch of a currency exchange deferredas there was a need to improve the security system.
