SLOBLOCO 2020; Innovation and Accessibility Within Blockchain

October 6, 2020

One of the most significant technological breakthroughs that the world witnessed in the last ten years is the emergence of blockchain. It quickly snowballed from being an abstract model into a multi-use application. Initially, it was applied to only cryptocurrency, but now, blockchain has found its way into several areas of human lives. The blockchain technology is now being applied in the logistic industry to track goods from the warehouse to their final destinations.

Not only that, but blockchain is also being deployed to track services. More importantly, the healthcare industry now benefits from the technology. Due to some of the benefits of using the technology, it is expected that it will be deployed to all other industries. Hence, no one can contest the fact that blockchain is not only here to stay, but it will also become an integral part of human lives. That’s exactly why a new blockchain congress is being organized. The congress aims to take the use of blockchain to another level.

SLOBLOCO 2020 Coming Soon

The new blockchain congress is tagged SLOBLOCO 2020, and the project is being handled by Kelta Cube ltd. This congress is anxiously awaited because it will be the first Slovak Blockchain Congress organized on an international level. According to reports from reliable sources, the event is billed to take place for three straight days. Some of the points that will be addressed are its application in cryptocurrency trading and in everyday life.

Crypto-wallets, crypto exchange, insurance, taxation, and legislative issues will also be addressed at the congress. The high number of scams in the cryptocurrency industry puts safety in the front burner too. Hosting the congress is not the only way through which Kelta Cube ltd is driving the platform forwards. The organization is also on the verge of expanding its cryptocurrency ATM network in Slovakia, its base, and in other locations outside Slovakia.

This will make it easier to make several crypto transactions almost anywhere. It is also certain that the congress will chart new courses into other possible blockchain use cases. The raging COVID-19 pandemic will definitely put the application of blockchain in healthcare at the top of the consideration list in this area. Its application in the food industry will also get global attention at the congress.

The use of blockchain in the pharmaceutical industry will also be discussed. The participants hope to explore ways by which the technology can be used to facilitate the distribution and administration of COVID-19 vaccines and to track new cases in real-time.

Speaking of COVID-19, some might have concerns about a congress being held during a global pandemic. Fortunately, Kelta Cube ltd has taken this into consideration and the SLOBLOCO 2020 will be organized to prevent any health risks to participants. All in-person events relating to the congress will require all participants to take a COVID-19 test and have a negative result before they may participate. Furthermore, a mobile testing center will be provided and all participants will be tested on-site before being allowed into the congress. Anyone who tests positive or shows COVID symptoms will not be allowed to participate for the safety of others.

Blockchain and Chocolate Production

One way the technology will impact the food industry is in tracking. Kelta has recently applied it in the tracking of chocolate from its source to the hand of final consumers. The blockchain chocolate tracking project was a collaboration of DECENT, 3IPK, and Lyra. The blockchain software was provided by 3IPK, while Lyra manufactured the chocolate. In all, 68 bars of chocolate were manufactured and tracked.

In fact, the tracking started from the supply of cocoa beans from Columbia to the Lyra factory, where the chocolate was manufactured. A scannable unique QR code was given to every bar of chocolate. The most intriguing part is that scanning the QR code of any of the chocolate bars with your smartphone will give you immediate access to the whole production process. The beauty of this is that you can verify the source of the chocolate bars before you consume it.

Blockchain and Crypto Legislature

Other important points to be addressed in the congress are taxation and legislative issues. One of the guests and keynote speakers to grace the occasion is the current Minister of finance of the Slovak republic. And another captain of industry that is expected to make a speech at the event is Ing. Ina Ková?ová Be?ková, Ph.D., the CEO of the Atlas Group, and she’ll discuss the taxation of revenue from the trading of cryptocurrencies. In this area, European legislation will be considered.

Another business tycoon expected to attend the congress is George Salapa, who is one of the founders of Bardicredit and Digital Securitization Advisor. Since Kelta Cube is at the forefront of the organization of the congress, it is needless to remind you that their CEO, George Mac, will also make a speech. Apart from Kelta Cube, several other corporate organizations have thrown in their support. These organizations are Lyra, Trezor, Covida, the Atlas Group, Kraken, and more.

Considering the significance of blockchain, the topics to be addressed, and the caliber of individuals that will participate in the international congress, it is not surprising that the world is anxiously awaiting the event. The huge online buzz says it all. The congress is billed to take place in the Slovak Republic from November 16-18, 2020.

Furthermore, plans are in top gear for a live online broadcast of the congress. Also, more than 50,000 participants from all over the world are expected to tune in. From all indications, the anticipation is massive.
